Welcome to Blue Quail

This lovely family cottage caters for four people.  Blue Quail cottage consists of two separate bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite fitted with showers, separated by a beautifully furnished lounge.  One bedroom contains a welcoming king-size bed; the other bedroom has two single beds, that can be converted to another king size bed, if required. Plush duvets, electric blankets and snuggle rugs warm our beds in winter and fluffy gowns are available for our adult guests.

What Else Does it Have?

A slow burning combustion fireplace creates a cosy ambience.  A portable gas heater and wall mounted bathroom heaters take the chill out of the winter air.  An elegant and comfortably furnished lounge, dining area and kitchen complete this family cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, pots, pans and crockery and cutlery.  A flat screen TV with DSTV hotel bouquet, complimentary sherry and snacks, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits, salt, pepper and dishwashing liquid and basic toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toilet paper and Tabbard are standard issue in this cottage.  There is a private veranda overlooking our magnificent valley (Glen Ormond)  and the Drakensberg mountains.  The veranda is furnished with comfortable armchairs, and a dining table and chairs for outside eating, a Weber barbecue, tongs etc., charcoal and firelighters, which all add to the comfort and charm of our Blue Quail cottage.
