Welcome to Green Hoopoe Cottage

For a couple who want a cozy weekend in the Midlands, book our lovely Green Hoopoe cottage.  Designed in a straight through layout, a self-catering cottage consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, lounge come dining area come kitchen.  Comfortable, elegant and fully equipped. An electric blanket and extra blankets are provided for the chilly winter evenings and fluffy dressing gowns are available for our adult guests. The bathroom consists of a shower, basin and separate loo and hand basin.

What Else is There?

The kitchen is equipped with a built-in two plate gas hob and microwave, halogen counter top oven, electric frying pan, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, pots, pans and all crockery and cutlery.  A flat screen high-definition television with DSTV hotel bouquet is standard issue in this cottage.  Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits, salt, pepper and dishwashing liquid and basic toiletries such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toilet paper and Tabbard are also provided.

A kettle braai (barbecue), tools and table and chairs are available for your personal use on the private wooden deck leading off the front of this cottage.  The deck looks over our beautiful gardens and rolling lawn, with the grandeur of the Drakensberg mountains defining the backdrop.
